FernCV is a free resume builder. You choose a template, fill it in with a live preview and download a PDF. There is no account to create and no subscription to cancel.
Why it works without an account
Most resume builders store your resume on their servers and ask you to sign up to get it back. We decided to do the opposite: your resumes and photos stay in the browser you use. That keeps the service simple, fast and private, and it means we never hold your personal history. To move your resumes to another device, download a backup file in Settings.
Why it is free
The site is a set of static pages with no database, so it costs little to run. There is no advertising and no paid tier. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on this page before it happens.
What we measure
We count visits and a few actions, such as which template was chosen or how many PDFs were downloaded, without cookies and without storing IP addresses. Nothing you type is ever sent. The privacy policy explains the details.
Who runs the site
FernCV is run from Turkey. You can reach us at info@ferncv.com or through the contact page.
