How it works
The scanner picks the terms that appear most often in the posting, including two-word phrases that repeat, such as "project management". It leaves out common filler words in English, Turkish, German and Spanish ("the", "için", "und", "para"…). Then it checks whether each term appears anywhere in your resume, with a little tolerance for different word endings.
How to use the results
- Add a missing term only if it is true for you. Recruiters read the resume after the system does.
- Use the posting's wording. If it says "stakeholder management", that phrase works better than a synonym.
- Put the most important terms in your summary and in your experience bullets, not only in the skills list, so they appear in context.
- Run the scanner again after editing; the list updates for each posting.
What it can't do
Keyword matching is a plain text comparison. It doesn't understand synonyms or how important each requirement is to the employer, and it can't tell whether a skill is described well. Use it as a checklist next to the posting, and check the overall readability of your resume with the ATS resume checker.
