Single column, hairline rules. Reads perfectly in any parser.

Dense two-column grid with headings in the margin. Fits a decade on a page.
Compact is a minimal resume template built on one idea: section headings sit in a narrow left margin and the content runs beside them. No line is spent on a heading alone, entries sit closer together, and the page holds noticeably more than a stacked layout without feeling cramped.

It is meant for experienced professionals with a lot to say and little room, such as engineers, consultants, project managers and finance specialists with ten or more years behind them, or anyone asked for a one-page resume who still wants several roles visible.
The header is short: your name, a bold headline and one gray line of contact details above a thin rule. Every section then follows the same grid, heading in small spaced capitals on the left, content on the right. No rules separate the sections, only white space, and there is no photo.
The content still flows in one column; only the headings step into the margin. Since each heading comes right before its section in the text order, applicant tracking systems (ATS) generally read it without trouble. Stick to standard names such as Experience, Education and Skills.
